London to Brighton charity bike ride for World Bicycle Relief

Take part in a unique London to Brighton Bike ride to raise funds for World Bicycle Relief. The London to Brighton charity bike ride is the first leg of James and Emily’s 20,000km cycle from London to Cape Town.

This fully supported and professionally organised London to Brighton bike ride begins in Wandsworth and follows quiet country lanes on the iconic London to Brighton bike ride route all the way to Brighton’s sea front. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

We will soon announce details of a fantastic post-ride reception!

Starts: Trinity Playing Fields, Wandsworth (please note the change of venue)

When: 12th July 2015. 9am start. (Registration from 08:00 to 08:30).

Cost: £40. (Get a £35 refund if you raise £285 or more – enough to fund 3 bikes for communities in Africa)

Includes: Support vehicles, signposted route, printed map, refreshment stop with High5 Sports Nutrition, medical support, mechanic, basic spares plus a fantastic post-ride reception in Brighton.

    Register for the London to Brighton charity cycle.

  • Step 2

    We’d love you to raise some money for our partner charity, World Bicycle Relief.
    Every penny you raise will go to World Bicycle Relief: NOT to fund any part of James and Emily’s expedition.

    If you raise £285 or more, you’ll get £35 refunded to you.

    All you need to do is set up your own fundraising page by clicking on ‘Create a Fundraising Page’.

    Once you’ve created your page, please make sure you join the London2CapeTown team. It’s easy – when you’re logged in to your fundraising page, simply click on ‘Teams’ on the left hand menu and search for London2CapeTown.

    World Bicycle Relief was set up to empower people across Africa through donating bikes. They believe in mobilising people through the power of bicycles so that the distance no longer prevents access to healthcare, education and economic activity and so far they have donated over 200,00 bikes across Africa.

    The work the charity does is invaluable in helping rural Africa to develop, educate their children and fight disease. You can see more on the World Bicycle Relief website.

    Just £95 will buy a specially designed Buffalo Bike that WBR will send to communities across Africa – the money that you raise will have a direct impact on the lives of many across rural Africa.

    Remember: raise £285 or more for WBR and you’ll get a £35 refund.
